Day 215

Breakfast downtown with zee friends... had to take this touristy photo in front of the courthouse. Reminiscent of the scene from Clueless... anyone? Haha

Today was great... had some quality time getting sunburned at the beach, then took the bus into IV and pretended to be in college again, haha!

Today was the beginning of alumni weekend! We hung around downtown, went wine tasting a little bit, and played bocce ball on the lawn at the mission :)

BAKED POTATO!!!! This started as a thing where I got potatoes and artichokes in my box and was like... oh I could make potatoes and artichokes, one of my favorite meals, and I could do it the healthy way! Then it turned into, oh but butter is delicious, and you can't have a potato without sour cream, and Bryan wanted bacon bits, and then this is where we ended up. At least the chives are green. And it was too good to feel bad about :)

Day 207

Today I dragged my sick self out of bed and went camping at Lake Casitas with my friends! Car camping, of course. I mostly just sat in a chair the whole time but it was really really fun. And the dogs were just so cute!

Day 206

Stayed home sick from work today and laid in bed... also watched about 15 episodes of Parks and Rec... yikes! Oh well. I needed it, seriously! Also I got this lovely letter from Miss Lindsay Jones in the mail :)

Being sick sucks!! Except I love making hot lemon honey water... I should just start doing that when I'm not sick :)

My boss's dog is just so cute! She's not that easy to take photos of since she's black... but she looks like a little bear cub and I just love it :)

Day 200

Day 200!!! It was a good one. Had some quality dog walking and gardening time with the girlies, then retreated indoors for a little movie watching. Zero Dark Thirty. Intense. I liked the ladybugs and flowers better, hehe.

Day 199

I ate the cutest little strawberry today! And lots of big strawberries too, obviously, but this one was more photogenic. Also Bryan's friends came to visit and we ventured into Isla Vista to get Freebirds for dinner... yum. And watched a bunch of Tosh.0... the usual :)

Today Bryan and his old friend Sam did a bike race that started and ended in Redlands... it was 62 miles long! Rachel and I didn't find the finish line in time because of the bigger and shorter race that was going on, but we made them pretend to finish again so we could take a picture, hehe.
