Sometimes a little change of scenery is exactly what the doctor ordered, so today we made a mini road trip down to Ventura and Ojai, and we came across this amazing lake. We stopped approximately 4.5 times, forgot to bring 2 cameras, got in 1.5 almost car accidents, bought 6 things at an amazing bakery, and came home with just 1. Wonderful afternoon.

Went for my first run since the half marathon today... it was way too difficult! I guess I shouldn't stay away from running for longer than a few days if I don't want to hate it :) Although it might have also had to do with the fact that it was super hot and I was wearing a sweatshirt. Either way, it was such a beautiful morning!

Well first of all I'd like to give a little birthday shout out to Allison Marie Fickett and Matthew David Polizzi - if you're reading this then I hope you had an incredible 21st birthday! And my dearest Miss Laura Pochowski is turning 20 in half an hour - so much celebration!! Unfortunately today was filled with classes and library time, so my photo was put off until just recently, resulting in this weird light squiggle. Ten bucks to anyone that can guess what it is!

IT IS SO WINDY TODAY!! I woke up early to pack and shtuff before going home, so I ran outside to catch the sunrise and I almost got blown over! But it's supposed to start storming soon, so the sky is beautiful and the ocean looks angry and awesome. I went over to the bluffs and I couldn't quite capture how beautiful the clouds were on the horizon...
But so many birds were floating on the wind, it looked so peaceful and beautiful I wish I could have been up there with them!

Tonight I had a self defense workshop for my girls... although this picture is a little blurry, I think it's hilarious to see 20 girls practicing how to knee a guy in the balls. Or excuse me, testicles. Love it :)

My home from freshman year... so nostalgic, it was good to be back for a few hours, and the moon was gorgeous!

Today was gloomy for the first time in a few months, and I actually loved it. I love the color of the ocean when it's about to rain, and I love that campus point is only about a minute walk away from my room.. despite the fact that this place gave me a minor concussion last year, hah.

My fantastic mother is, appropriately, the last one of my "photos from other people" section of the blog. Since I am definitely a save-the-best-for-last kind of person, I chose this photo. Nothing totally incredible about it, except for the fact that she and the rest of the fam sent me a big package full of Valentine's and it made me so happy!! She is the best and I love and appreciate her more every day.

Let me tell you about Hannah Meade. She was my roommate freshman year, and she is quite the wild woman once you get to know her. However, she also has a super creative side, and she writes amazing poetry! She not only takes really cool pictures, but she has a knack for picking great ones that other people have taken as well. I'm not actually sure which category this falls into, but I love it anyway. Love you Banana!

My friend Matt goes to a little school called Dominican and makes me constantly jealous while I'm sitting through calculus and he is in drawing and photography classes... nonetheless I love when he puts up pictures on facebook for me to look through :) If only I had a Nikon so he could help me learn how to use my camera! This one is from a while back but I've always loved it.

My Aunt Lynette is one of the most amazing people ever. She also takes incredible pictures, and goes on really sweet little excursions whenever she feels like it. Here's a picture she took in Moab - all the red rock places remind me so much of my childhood because of houseboating on Lake Powell and I LOVE IT!

Today my friends came and supported the blood drive I was having, even though it wasn't the most fun thing ever, and I loved it. I tried to entice them by showing Twilight at the same time, but obviously it didn't really work for Jaimie.

I've been having quite the lack of inspiration lately, but my good friend Aaron (who I got the idea for this blog from in the first place) talked me into keeping up the hard work. You'd be surprised how difficult it is to try and take an amazing picture every day! So I'm going to make up for lost time some how and make an attempt to catch up. Lets travel back in time and pretend it's actually February 8. Yesterday I ran a half marathon, and I am extremely sore!! But I'm still totally high off of how awesome that accomplishment feels.
